Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

We have a full-time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) - in Chandler, AZ. Clinic hours are M-F 7:30am-6:30pm and we offer flexibility with shift start/end times. Some evening and weekend hours may be required depending on client needs.
Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L):
Provide direct treatment to children and training & assistance to families
Conduct new client assessments and initial treatment planning
Create individualized programming
Create sensory diet and adaptive in-home materials for client families
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to incorporate evidence based strategies throughout daily treatment
Work side-by-side with management team to develop supplemental services and technology dedicated to raising the standard of care in the pediatric therapy industry
Qualifications:
MUST BE LICENSED AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an occupational therapist
Excellent leadership skills with a desire to grow and mentor a team
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to collaborate on a multidisciplinary team
Must have reliable transportation for sessions at patients' homes and schools, and possess a clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance
Must be able to pass a background check
ββMust obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must acquire certifications in CPR / First Aid
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and provide physically active engagement with children
This is an active job. You may have to lift and carry clients. You will be required to move with the client, which means you will be kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. You will have to move quickly to ensure client's are safe.
